Bible Stories for Schools

Bible Stories for Schools offers free, ready-to-use resources designed to help schools and churches teach Bible stories in meaningful and engaging ways. These materials support school assemblies, collective worship and enrichment days in local churches, making biblical narratives memorable for pupils. The resources provide everything needed to bring Bible stories to life while fostering strong partnerships between churches and schools.

  • Yes, these resources are free to use! They have been produced by Philo Trust, a UK registered charity (CC 285762) to help schools teach Bible stories such as Christmas and Easter.

  • J.John is a Christian minister, speaker, broadcaster and writer. He lives near London, is married to Killy and is a father and grandfather. You can find out more about him on his website.

  • J.John’s books The Easter Story and The Christmas Story were originally written for families to read together. We would therefore suggest the physical books should only be used in a school context if teachers have properly considered their suitability. The original books include prayers which would not be appropriate in some community schools. 

    The free resources on this website have been adapted by teachers, for teachers.
